What To Expect
Creative and Non-Competitive Environment
Children aged 6-10 will work in small teams of up to 6 on exploring a real-world problem as well as creating and testing new solutions to it together. Chose all-girls or mixed gender teams.
Basic Engineering and Programming Skills
Teams will work with an exclusive LEGO® Education WeDo model to design a model of their own and apply engineering and programming concepts to make their model move.
Real-World Community Problem Solving
Teams will imagine and create a building that solves a real-world problem of a rapidly evolving community and makes life happier, easier, or more connected for the people who use it.
Gain Unique Experience
Every year, FIRST® LEGO® League Jr. introduces a completely new and exciting challenge that explores a real-world theme with an exclusive LEGO® Education Inspire Model.
At the end of the season, some teams will be invited to showcase their creation at the FIRST® LEGO® League Jr. World Festival Expo. There, children can meet other teams from all over the world, share their ideas, and have fun.

Learn Valuable STEM Skills
Through FIRST® LEGO® League Jr., children will learn STEM concepts and develop valuable skills through something they already know and love – LEGO®.
Guided by experienced coaches, children will work with STEM concepts and develop their imagination, research, and creative thinking skills as they create and test models using an exclusive LEGO® Education WeDo 2.0 model.
